Santiago Naranjo papers, 1906-1945.

Summary: Collection consists of the papers of Santiago Naranjo, 1906-1945. Included are correspondence, freight receipts, a telegram, a New Mexico district court summons for Manuel Tafoya and Albino Naranjo (1937), a loan document, (1945), a small account book, and two day books listing the names of workers on various museum projects, (1906-1911). Correspondence pertains to various issues involving the Pueblo governors. Included is Bantista Zuni's (Governor of Isleta Pueblo) call for the creation of a Pueblo Indian delegation to present Indian petitions to the federal government in Washington, D.C. Also included is a list of Santa Clara governors compiled by Santiago Naranjo.
